Long gone is the sugary milky bland chocolate in the fridge or cupboard. With a sweep of the cupboard and a sweet treat craving. This little baby was born. Enjoy responsibly.
Healthy Chocolate Crackle Bar
3/4 cup of walnuts
1 big tablespoon scoop of almond butter
half a cup of raisins
A few table spoons of flax meal
Good slosh of pure maple syrup (sorry I work on sight, I don’t measure)…
Process together till it starts to stick and clump, add more liquid if too dry, add more solid if too wet and not clumping.
In another bowl pour about 1 cup of shredded coconut with 1 cup of puffed rice.
Throw the processed nut mix on top.
Melt about 3/4 cup of coconut oil then add 1/2 cup of maple syrup and a few table spoons of raw cacao powder.
MIX.
Pour the chocolate mix over the other ingredients add a pinch of pure salt and mix with a spoon. Put in a square baking paper lined dish flatten out and put in the freezer for an hour or so to harden up.
