Barwon Heads Village Park - 14 Geelong Road East, Barwon Heads
Located in a quiet bush setting on the outskirts of the town centre, the ‘Pirate Park’ is a nautically themed playground filled with toddler and big kid friendly pirate ships, talking tubes, slides, crazy mirrors, swings and a flying fox racer. Facilities include a toilet block, BBQ facilities and plenty of shady spots for a picnic. Parking is on-site and free.
 
Frank Ellis Park – 2-60 Flinders Parade, Barwon Heads
Perfect for sunny weather, this sandy playground is located right next to the Barwon River beach. There is a variety of playground equipment including a small pirate ship with climbing frames and slides, disabled swing seat, circular swing, monkey bars, rocking boat and a large climbing frame. BBQ facilities are on-site as well as toilets and beach showers. There is free parking at the reserve however spaces are limited.
 
Kingston Park - 8-52 Adco Grove, Ocean Grove
Nestled at the beginning of a Kingston nature reserve are two children’s playgrounds. One for smaller and the other for bigger kids so great for all ages. Each park has swings, slides and plenty to climb. Further back from the playground is a toilet block, barbecues and parking is plentiful off street. There is also a large oval just behind the playground, perfect for kicking around the footy and peaceful nature walks through the adjoining reserve.
 
Ocean Grove Park - Corner of President's Ave and Draper St, Ocean Grove
A community funded park suitable for all ages. The main playground has two swing sets, slide, bridges, monkey bars, see-saw, rocking boat, spinning cup and a digger. Within the same reserve there are walking paths, barbecue facilities, basketball hoop and a fitness park. There are no toilets or rubbish bins onsite as it run by volunteers but there is plenty of off and on street parking nearby.
 
Osprey Reserve - Osprey Close, Ocean Grove
This small playground is located just opposite Collendina beach, down the hill and behind a café. It has two slides, some monkey bars and a swing set. It is a quiet spot away from the main road and good for smaller children. There are no facilities on site but parking and toilets are available across the road at the beach.
 
Collendina Reserve, 18 Minerva Close, Ocean Grove
Backing onto Bonnyvale Avenue, this reserve houses the local Cricket and Junior Football club. There are toilets onsite, parking, a picnic table and a small playground with a swing set, climbing chain, two slides and monkey bars.
 
Devlins Road Park and Playground, Oakdene Estate - Ocean Grove
Located in the new Oakdene Estate this small toddler friendly playground has a great variety of imaginative play areas. The main structure is shaped like a pirate ship and there is a rocking ‘life boat’ just a few pretend swimming lengths away. Within the pirate ship there is a large slide, climbing frame and a play café. There is also a swing set and circular swing as well. There is no official parking area but there is plenty of street parking available. There is also undercover picnic tables for a sunny or rainy day.
 

Kingston Downs Reserve, Kingston Downs Drive, Ocean Grove
This small toddler playground is situated within a large grassed area within the Kingston Estate in northern Ocean Grove. The playground itself is set back from the main road and is equipped with a swing set, see-saw and a wooden structure with a clock, giant abacus and two slides. There is plenty of off street parking available along with a picnic table and plenty of room to play ball games.
 
Airlie's PlaySpace at Kingston Ocean Grove
Located in Kingstone Estate, this large playground is great for the young and young at heart. For older children there is a hammock swing, balancing bridge, climbing ropes and a large circular swing that spins as well. For the pre-schoolers there is a seesaw, swing set and two play structures linked by ‘spider web’ climbing ropes. On one structure there is a dual slide and small climbing wall and the other a slide and rope ladder. There are also two basketball hoops, picnic seating and a walking track around the adjacent duck pond. Parking is on the street.
 
Estuary Boulevard Reserve - 56-62 Estuary Boulevard Leopold
Located in the new Estuary Lakes estate just off Melaluka road lies this huge play space for all ages. Up one end of the grassed area is a basketball hoop and the other a large playground. Activities include a towering pyramid shaped climbing structure, swing sets with a circular swing, seesaw and a large structure that houses a smaller children’s play area with slide and a big kids dual slide and scrambling wall. There is also a small man made hill with polysoft surfacing with an inbuilt slide. Facilities include a BBQ area with picnic table which is undercover. Parking is a bit tricky as it is all on street, and the roads are quite thin so be aware of where you park.
 
Drysdale Railway Station Picnic Area - High Street, Drysdale
Drysdale Railway Station Picnic area is located next door to the historic railway station and adjacent to the beautiful Lake Lorne. Revamped back in 2014, this fresh new play space offers a variety of equipment and facilities. Keeping within the theme of locomotives, there is a pretend train along with a swing set and a small and larger structure each with climbing ‘frogs’, web and slide. Other equipment include a small roundabout, circular swing, climbing a-frame and bouncy dolphin. A covered bbq area, plenty of picnic tables, toilets and plenty of parking is also on-site.
 
Lookout Reserve – Lookout Road, Ocean Grove
Stunning local reserve with a playground, picnic area and an exceptional coastal view! There is a swing set, balancing board and play structure with a slide, wobbly bridge and plenty of climbing options. There are a few picnic tables located on site and plenty of off street parking.
